Generation to Generation Campaign Project Updates

We are excited to announce that our initial Generation to Generation projects are underway! We are reprinting here a summary of the project goals. OLPH Generation to Generation Summary

On March 23, 2025, Our Lady of Perpetual Help kicked off our participation in the Generation to Generation: Answer the Call campaign, along with parishes within the Archdiocese of Chicago. This campaign served as an opportunity to strengthen our local parish and support the broader Chicago Catholic community by spiritually renewing our parishes, supporting our priests and assisting parish communities in need.  All OLPH parishioners were encouraged to join with the faithful from across the archdiocese to ensure our local church is strong and vibrant for generations to come. 

With the OLPH share of the funds raised in the campaign, Fr. Jerry, along with staff and lay leadership within the parish, identified the following projects to be undertaken:

  • Create a Hospitality Center,
  • Upgrade the Glenview Road entrance,
  • Address campus accessibility and security needs,
  • Refurbish church pews,
  • Replace school A/C units,
  • Provide gifts to Sharing Parishes,
  • Build a dedicated parking garage for Sr. Paulanne,
  • Upgrade church piping. 

The standard OLPH goal that was set by the archdiocese was $3,725,000. The enhanced goal was $6,000,000. That figure seemed daunting. However the generosity of OLPH parishioners was overwhelming. Just four months after the campaign began, we exceeded our goal! Fr. Jerry commented, "This a remarkable achievement and once again reflects the generosity and commitment of our faith community. Grateful beyond words!"
