Glenview Bike to Worship Weekend

Bike Glenview is a community-wide initiative & resource to promote biking as a healthy, cost-effective and low-polluting way to travel around our beautiful village. The initiative is made possible through a cooperative effort with the Village of Glenview, Glenview Park District, Glenview Library, Glenview Chamber of Commerce, and the Glenview Natural Resources Commission.

During this special time between Easter and Pentecost, we read from the Acts of the Apostles and celebrate the beginnings of the Church. The readings from Acts highlight the work of the early church. The ministries here at OLPH continue this work by building community, sharing talent and time, spreading the Good News of Jesus and bringing joy to others.

Celebrate! ...the Joy of Ministry Work

During the six Sundays between Easter and Pentecost, we will celebrate the joy of ministry work at OLPH! The idea to celebrate ministry work emerged from the Parish Transformation Initiative as a way to cultivate a community of faith that welcomes and engages all people. The ministries here at OLPH embody the work of the Apostles and the JOY of the Gospel by creating a connection to God, Church and community.

The Music of John Rutter

OLPH Women's Club Guild 22 presents The Music of John Rutter. Our Music Ministry's next concert features Russell Stern, OLPH Director of Music, conducting the OLPH Festival Choir in Rutter's Requiem with an instrumental ensemble, as well as several other works.
Sunday, May 7, 3:00 pm in the Church.
DVD's of one of the choir's previous concerts will be available for a donation. Proceeds will go to the Needy Family Fund. All are welcome to attend this free concert.
