Training for Greeters & Ushers

We are called to welcome all people, with warm hospitality, into our faith community. A concrete and much needed way to do that is to join our newly expanded Greeter/Usher Ministry. We are looking for additional people to help with our upcoming holiday services.

Domestic Violence Workshop

Thursday, November 12 from 7-9 pm, Lower Level of church (McDonnell Hall)

What is domestic violence? What causes it? Why do victims stay? Please join us as we explore these and other important questions in an informative evening of domestic violence education. Facilitated by Parish Social Worker Luana Lienhart, we discuss these and other facets of this complicated issue, including how faith communities can best help victims and survivors.

Russell Stern in Concert

Save the date. Russell Stern will give a solo piano recital on Sunday, November 15 at 3:00 pm in the church.
OLPH Women's Club Guild 22 presents our Music Director, Russell Stern, who will perform music of different styles and composers as well as his own works from his two CDs, Awakening and Secrets of the Night. Please mark your calendars!

Yoga for a Good Cause

Our Yoga Group meets on Wednesdays from 7:30 - 8:30 am in the Dussman Room. This is theraputic hatha yoga for muscle strength and flexibility. We focus on core strength and alignment. No prior yoga experience is necessary. A donation of $10 per class is requested. 100% of your donation goes directly to "Little by Little" Medical Mission to Haiti.
