The OLPH Men’s Basketball League instituted a new award this season in honor of longtime player and parishioner Mark Puch, who passed away in August. Mark will be remembered for his leadership, hustle, toughness, and all-around passion for the game. A player from the Over 40 League will be identified each season by the team captains and league commissioner to receive the annual Mark Puch Award. The 2018 recipient was Don Schmidt, pictured with his wife and grandson. Congratulations to Don.
