Ministry Service Sundays
The Gospels read at Mass the six Sundays between Easter and Pentecost are taken from the Acts of the Apostles. We can learn much today from the early church about community and service. The early Christians took care of one another, looked out for one another, and took to heart the command of Jesus to love one another.
Let’s celebrate these Easter Sundays by celebrating ministry work. Listed below is a different service project for each week. Please join in giving of your time, talent, and treasure to make someone else’s life a little richer.
April 8 – Brown Bag Sunday! Pack lunches for the needy.
April 15 – Soup Sunday! Bring soup for sharing parishes.
April 22 – Cereal Sunday! Bring cereal for sharing parishes.
April 29 – Soap Sunday! Bring hygiene products or washcloths.
May 6 – Sock Sunday! Bring any size new socks.
May 13 – Celebrate Mom Sunday! Happy Mother’s Day!!
May 20 – Pentecost (Birthday of the Church) Sunday!
Party in McDonnell Hall after 9:30, 11:00, and 12:30 Masses
We will pack “Surprise Bags” for the children in our Sharing Parishes
