Ministers of Care bring Holy Communion to parishioners who are homebound, living in nursing homes, or in the hospital. They share with them the word of God in scripture, pray with them for the Church and the world, and offer them companionship. Through the Ministry of Care we are able to keep long-time parishioners of OLPH connected and active in our faith community.
If you think God might be calling you to this most important ministry, please contact Rick Nash for more information or to register for the training sessions (847-651-8718 or rick.nash@comcast.net).
Lastly, if you, a family member, or someone you know is homebound, unable to attend Mass, and would like to receive Holy Communion, an OLPH Ministers of Care are available to bring Holy Communion. For more information, please call the Rectory Office at 847-729-1525.
