The Future of Our Teen Ministry

Father Boland and the Parish Council will explore Teen Ministry on Thursday, March 19 at 7:30 pm in McDonnell Hall. If you are the parent of a teen, ask yourself:

  • What is your dream for your child after grammar school?
  • How do you hope for your child to stay connected with OLPH as he or she grows older?
  • How can a teen ministry help support you and your child?

Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend this event.

School Advisory Board Nominations

The Role of the School Advisory Board

Every April, OLPH Parish conducts an election to fill the vacancies of the OLPH School Advisory Board members whose terms expire in May. This year the parish community will elect three (3) parent members and one (1) non-parent member, each for a three (3) year term.  The School Advisory Board plays an important role in shaping the school's short-term and long-term plans.

A group from OLPH Women's Club Guild 6 recently spent a few hours at the Greater Chicago Food Depository to benefit one of our Sharing Parishes, Our Lady of Tepeyac. Together with other groups, we repackaged 6,000 pounds of pinto beans!!  These beans will be distributed to 2,000 people this week. Other groups packaged 18,000 pears and salvaged 7,500 food products.
