Retreat: July 29, 8:15 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.. | Hickey Hall
All are invited.
It's been more than a year when more than 60 OLPH parishioners gathered to discuss how the Archdiocesan “Transformation Process” could impact our campus. In the late Fall of 2016, programs inspired by these discussions were offered. For one, we changed the name of the program to better suit our goals: Transformation: Living Christ’s Mission Today. The hope is to help parishioners renew their own spiritual commitments and strengthen the ties to our church community. We have made great progress in relative short time. Still, there is a great deal still to be done before we can say we have achieved the goals set by our own team.
We plan to have a three hour retreat to review what we have done to date (and to introduce new people to the program) and to renew our goals for the coming years. Anyone with an interest in this program is welcome but you must register in advance. Please request an invitation to the e-mail address below.
Transformation began as a task force to discover ways to deepen our faith community. This project has implications for both personal enrichment and our parish community. We are planning a half day seminar filled with short presentations, some guest speakers and guided discussion.
