Lent and Easter Special Intentions
During the seasons of Lent and the Easter, the Ministry of Praise will include in their daily prayers for the Parish, the special intentions of our parishioners recorded in the Parish Prayer Request books located in Our Lady’s Chapel and at the main entrance of the church. If you have an intention for which you would like the prayers and support of this Ministry, please record your intention in the books. The Ministry of Praise is composed of parishioners who offer their daily prayers, joys and hardships for the intentions of our Parish.
Background and Inquiries
The Ministry of Praise is a spiritual ministry whose members offer their daily prayers, joys and sacrifices for the special intentions of the parish and the universal church. Members include all who pray daily: adults, teens, families, seniors, homebound and the sick of the parish.
For over nine years the Ministry of Praise has united our parish community through prayer because service is not just doing physical things but also about our spiritual endeavors. The men and women of the Ministry of Praise share a part of their lives each day for the good of our faith community.
Each month Ministry of Praise members receive a letter from our Pastor, Associate Pastor and Ministry leaders asking them to pray for special intentions of the parish and the universal church. Members are also prayer partners for ministries within our church community. If you are interested in being a part of this ministry, contact Liz Wallace (see below).
