The OLPH Men’s Club would like to thank everyone who attended, volunteered and supported the 8th Annual OLPH Outdoor Mass and Block Party and which occurred Saturday, September 9. Led by Fr. Boland and our wonderful priests, our parish celebrated mass together on the rectory lawn and then enjoyed a wonderful night of food, games and plenty of socializing, all the while supporting Sr. Paulanne’s Needy Family Fund and the many great causes of the Men’s Club.
A special thanks to Tim McGivern (Hel’s Kitchen) and the many volunteers who helped serve dinner to over 1,500 parishioners! Likewise, thank you to Peapod, Heinen’s, Skokie Valley Distributors, and Schaefer’s for their food and beverage donations and accommodations.
Thank you to all our raffle sponsors/donors, especially Tom Harte and Ed Falkenhayn, who were essential in making the raffle a success. Also, we want to recognize co-chairmen Kevin Duffy and Kevin Ryan for their hard work and time spent running this year’s raffle for Sr. Paulanne’s Needy Family Fund.
