On Sunday, November 28 after 12:00 pm Mass, at the west wall of the Parish Center, there will be a dedication service for a new mosaic in honor of the Blessed Mother. The Marian mosaics that lead our journey into the church recognize the many titles of the Blessed Mother. The new mosaic honors Our Lady of Kibeho. She appeared to several teenagers in the 1980’s in Kibeho which is in south-western Rwanda. Her messages were pleas for peace and an end to hatred. The Rwandan genocide was one of the horrific chapters of the 20th century.
The mosaic is a gift of the Strenk family, in honor of their Aunt Geralyn Sullivan who has a special devotion to Our Lady of Kibeho.
