Dignity, Respect and Sacredness
Catholic Funerals and Burials

Deacon Glenn Tylutki was born in Chicago and graduated from Loyola University of Chicago where he earned a B.S. Degree in Psychology.  He was ordained a permanent Deacon in 1991.  During his period of diaconal formation, he earned a Master of Arts Degree in Church Ministry from Creighton University in Omaha. In August of 2007, Glenn was appointed to the newly created position of Outreach Coordinator of Cemetery Services for the Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Chicago.  As the Outreach Coordinator, Deacon Tylutki serves as an educational resource to increase participation in the Order of Christian Funerals and to interface with Pastors, Ministers of Care, Parishes, Senior Home and Assisted Living Facilitators and Funeral Professionals in both the explanation and experience offered by the Catholic Rituals surrounding death.

Deacon Glenn will present the Catholic view of death in relationship to oneself, one’s family and to one’s community and the beauty, simplicity, comfort and hope offered by the visual use and response to the Rites (ceremonies) offered by the Church.
