on Sunday April 30 in McDonnell Hall starting with lite refreshments at 2:30pm and his lecture at 3:00pm.

In Reading the OT Through Jewish Eyes, Rabbi Moffic explores the Torah, the first five books of the Hebrew Bible and highlights key points of interest to Christians.
The Torah as a whole describes its place in Jewish worship and life and how it can be a source of wisdom, truth, and transformation. Themes in Genesis include outlining the order of the created world, the creation of humans in the image of God.
Exodus explores the clear message that God is on the side of the oppressed freeing them from slavery.
These Scriptures are examined using four levels of of interpretation Jewish Scholars give to these key texts in the Bible.
Rabbi Moffic is senior rabbi at Congregation Solel in Highland Park Illinois.
