Faith Leaders Address Climate Change At Glenview Prayer Service
The Archdiocese of Chicago and the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago gathered in Glenview on Oct. 22, 2021 to observe the seventh annual Solemn Vespers for the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation. Cardinal Blase J. Cupich came to Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH) Church (1775 Grove St.) for the ecumenical service with the Greek Orthodox community. Cardinal Cupich, archbishop of Chicago, presided at the Friday 7 p.m. service and was joined by His Eminence Metropolitan Nathanael of Chicago and Rev. Fr. Richard Demetrius Andrews of Saints Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church in Glenview (1401 Wagner Rd.).
