Engagement Ministry Mission

To build community by creating a warm and caring atmosphere where everyone is welcomed and valued. We support all OLPH ministries, encourage connections, and promote engaged discipleship. It is our goal that new and long-time parishioners experience an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and respects the unique gifts each of us has to offer.

Description

The Engagement Ministry welcomes new parishioners; inspires love of our parish; connects parishioners to each other and to various OLPH ministries; and promotes stewardship of time, talent, and treasure. We recognize the importance of communication for disseminating information and for bringing people together. Therefore, we work to enhance our current forms of communication as well as explore new technology. The essence of Engagement is how you feel about your church, and the depth of your connections whether spiritual, social, or service oriented. We encourage community by meeting people where they are and, together, Seeking the Lord, Sharing His gifts, and Rejoicing in His blessings.

Time Commitment

The Engagement Ministry generally meets the last Wednesday of the month from 7:00 to 8:30 pm in the Parish Center business office. Meeting date may vary to accommodate members’ schedules.
