Special Celebration for Fr. Patrick Kizza and Fr. Larry Basbas, 5:00pm, Sat., June 7.
Please join us for a parish-wide celebration of Fr. Patrick and Fr. Larry. We will have a special Mass at 5:00pm with reception following. All are invited.
Fr. Patrick Kizza will be appointed administrator of St. Patrick’s in Lake Forest, IL on July 1, the place of his patron saint. They were hoping for an enthusiastic, evangelizing priest, their prayers have been answered.
Fr. Larry Basbas will be appointed administrator of St. Paul VI parish in the Riverside, North Riverside communities in the western suburbs. The parish is named after Pope Paul VI who was one of the architects of Vatican II. Fr. Larry is certainly a Vatican II priest.
Both Fr. Patrick and Fr. Larry will begin their new assignments in July.
