Music Ministry Concert: Pilgrims of Hope 2:00pm, Sun. Mar. 16.
Pope Francis has declared this a Year of Jubilee, declaring we are Pilgrims of Hope. OLPH has been designated a Pilgrimage Site for this Jubilee. Our first event celebrating Jubilee 2025 is a prayer concert called “Pilgrims of Hope” sponsored by Guild 22. Our Music Director, Russell Stern, will accompany and direct the OLPH Festival Choir and our Children’s Choir, performing inspiring music about hope, a much needed message in today’s world.
We will also feature two outstanding young musicians, Santi Robles-Berthier on cello and Matthew Nerenberg on oboe in addition to the beautiful sound of violinist, Anthony Kawalkowski.
All of our talented cantors will be enhancing this prayer service with their special vocal contributions. Margie André will be reciting her new poem: "Pilgrim’s of Hope" and Tom Tirpak will share a message from St. Thomas Aquinas. Included will be Russell Stern’s composition "Blessing of Return", and numerous inspiring and songs about hope. All are welcome to attend this FREE concert.
