Project Linus quilting ministry at OLPH has been very active this year providing love, a sense of security, warmth, and comfort to children in need ages 0-18 who are seriously ill, traumatized or otherwise in need of our new handmade quilts. This past fiscal year, the ministry volunteers, known as “blanketeers,” have completed 180 quilts!

There are no special talents required…only the desire to do something for a wonderful cause. Volunteers can come to a session when their schedule allows, and contribute by cutting, sewing, or ironing. The ability to use a sewing machine is not required. Project Linus has fun and helpful tasks for everyone!

Donations of fabric, thread or sewing machines, as well as gift cards (ex: JOANN Fabrics, Walmart), are greatly appreciated. The demand from hospitals, shelters, and fire and police stations for Project Linus quilts is unending! To volunteer, donate or request further information, please contact:
